Student Opportunities

This is an opportunity for students interested in a career in the healthcare field to gain hands-on patient care experience under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist/Physical Therapist/Certified Hand Therapist. Hand Works Physical Therapy treats patients of all ages and students will learn the basics of evaluation and treatment for a variety of diagnoses, injuries, and post-surgical repairs of the upper and lower extremities. Work duties include working with patients to complete modalities, exercises, and home exercise programs, create splints for patient rehabilitation, document patient changes, and keep up the general care of the clinic.

Hand Works is accepting students of all levels to participate in this one-of-a-kind experience. Hand Works Physical Therapy currently has arrangements with Gannon University, University of ST. Augustine, and Keiser University for internship placement. We are open to students from other universities as well.
